Age Verification

Why do we use age verification on our website?

At The Vape Hut, we take your safety and our legal compliance very seriously. To help us protect our customers we use VerifyMyAge to check that you are over 18 when you purchase our products.

UK law strictly prohibits the sale of e-cigarettes and vaping products to individuals under the age of 18. Age verification helps us adhere to these regulations and prevent any unintentional violations. Selling age-restricted items to minors also goes against our core values, and we believe in protecting young individuals from potential harm. Age verification is a significant step towards ensuring that our products reach only those who are of legal age.

The checkout process

We want to provide you with the best possible shopping experience while ensuring that our business practices align with the highest standards. VerifyMyAge is a trusted software that uses your order details to verify your identity, providing a seamless shopping experience. However, if they are unable to confirm your identity during checkout, you may be asked for additional information. You will be given a choice of methods to do this, including facial recognition, government ID, email, or text confirmation. Once verified your order will complete and you won’t have to verify on our website again. While we appreciate additional verification steps can be a little bit inconvenient, it’s crucial to us that our products are used safely and responsibly.

Get in touch

Thank you for understanding our commitment to responsible sales and legal compliance. We appreciate your support. If you have any questions or concerns about our age verification process or have any problems with the verification steps then please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and we’ll do our best to help you.
